‘Sinterklaas’ was here. I must have been a good girl because he spoiled me with some very nice presents.

 

 

-The new issue of ‘ Marie Claire Idees’ , a French magazine with all kind of craft  ideas.  Decorations of paper and fabric, sewn gifts, Embroidery knitting, crocheting.  There are also recipes and some fashion. My French is real bad but that doesn’t matter. It’s a source of inspiration ( and if necessary.. there is a dictionary on the bookshelf )

- Two sizes of needle pointprotectors in the shape of a hand and hat.

- A lovely shawl pin in the shape of a turtle.

- Two skeins of beautiful wool from the Natural Dye Studio. The colour is wisteria. 

- Eucalan: a natural woolwash that protects your fabric against  moths. Very handy and with a nice smell. I got a little flacon lavender and one eucalyptus.

You can imagine how I have spent my weekend ;-)

 

Sinterklaas

 

Sinterklaas is geweest .  Ik moet erg braaf zijn geweest want hij heeft met verwend met een aantal leuke cadeaus.

- Het nieuwste nummer van ‘ Marie Claire Idees’ , een Frans tijdschrift met allerlei handwerk- en knutselideeën…Decoraties van papier en stof, genaaide en geborduurde geschenken, breisels en haaksels…. Er staan ook wat recepten in en wat modedingetjes. Mijn Frans is slecht maar dat maakt niet uit. Het is een bron van inspiratie. ( en indien nodig heb ik een woordenboek in de boekenkast staan)

- Een schattige sjaalspeld in de vorm van een schildpad.

- Twee maten naaldpuntbeschermers in de vorm van een handje en mutsje.

 

 

- Twee strengen prachtige wol van de Natural Dye Studio.  De kleur van Blauwe Regen.

- Eucalan: een natuurlijk wolwasmiddel dat je wol beschermd tegen motten. Hartstikke handig en het ruikt nog lekker ook.  Een flacon ruikt naar lavendel, de ander naar eucalyptus.

Je kunt je wel voorstellen hoe ik dit weekend heb doorgebracht  ;-)
