Pattern: cats

Some people asked me how to make the little cats sitting in my stand on the fair. I had promised to put the pattern on the site real soon. So today is the day. At least for the Dutch speaking people among us. The pattern will also be available in english but that'll be somewhere next week. You'll find it in the freebees section.

I also made some cats in selfstriping sock yarn. Some people thougth they were owls and I have to say that they indeed look a bit like owls. The only thing you have to do is omit the tail. What a difference the kind of yarn makes!

Patroon poesjes

Op de handwerkbeurs kreeg ik de vraag hoe de poesjes gemaakt waren die in de stand stonden. Ik beloofde dat het patroon snel op de site zou komen. Bij deze is het zover. Althans voor de nederlandstaligen onder ons. Het engelstalige patroon zal volgende week klaar zijn. Je vindt het patroon bij de freebees.

De poesjes stonden er ook gemaakt van bruin zelfstrepend sokkengaren maar ze werden vooral uiltjes genoemd. Ze lijken inderdaad op uiltjes als je het staartje weglaat. Zo zie je maar weer wat een verschil het maakt welk garen je gebruikt. Elke keer weer erg leuk en verrassend.
