Happy New Year. I wish you all a healthy, happy and creative 2009!!

With lots of inspiration and new projects!!

Have you made good resolutions for 2009? Do you even make good resolutions? This year I have. I won't bore you with all of them but I want to mention three regarding creativity. I think for some people they sound familiar.

1. Finish items/projects. And finish them before starting new ones. Of course that doesn't mean I can't work on several at a time but the limit is 6 (is that realistic ?). Four regarding yarn and two fabric.

2. Not to buy yarn or fabric if I don't have a proper goal for it. It also means that first I have to look in my own stash when I think of a new project.

3. Design at least 6 new patterns for Old Habits New.

How am I gonna do that?

Very simpel ;-) Doing this. Old Habits New, the weblog. Ravelry is also very helpful besides the fact that it is a major distraction too.

Ravelry is a knit and crochet community on the internet. Great place to be. Lots of nice people, ideas, projects, tips and patterns! And good for me because you can organize your projects.

Note: The bear is Bob (2006) a variation on the pattern 'Old Ted' from Christie Bears

Nieuw jaar

Gelukkig Nieuw Jaar. Een heel gezond, gelukkig en creatief 2009 gewenst!!

Met veel inspiratie en nieuwe projecten!!

Heb jij goede voornemens voor 2009? Neem jij je eigenlijk wel iets voor? Ik wel dit jaar. Ik zal je niet vervelen met de hele rij maar noem er 3 die te maken hebben met mijn creatieve bezigheden.

1. Projecten afmaken. En dat voordat ik met nieuwe begin. Natuurlijk betekent dat niet dat ik niet met meerdere dingen tegelijk bezig mag zijn. De grens heb ik gesteld bij 6 ( is dat realistisch??). Vier met betrekking tot wol en twee met stof.

2. Geen wol of stof kopen als ik er geen duidelijk doel voor heb. Dit betekent ook dat ik altijd is in mijn eigen voorraad moet kijken als ik iets nieuws wil beginnen.

3. Minstens 6 nieuwe patronen voor Old Habits New ontwerpen.

Mijn aanpak?

Heel simpel ;-) Door dit te doen. Old Habits New, de weblog. Ravelry is ook erg handig maar tegelijkertijd leidt het ook af en is het daardoor tijdrovend.

Ravelry is een brei en haak groep op internet. Fantastische plek. Veel leuke mensen, ideeen, projecten, tips en patronen! En speciaal handig voor mij.. Je kunt je projecten organiseren.
