When the weather is beautiful I try to spend more time outside instead of behind the computer...One of the reasons that there has been no entry on my blog for a few weeks. Another reason was that I am busy preparing my atelier where I am planning to give my workshops in the near future. I am very excited about it, but still some work has to be done before the atelier is suitable for that purpose. I hope the first workshops can start in the autumn.

In april I started knitting a jacket. This is the one:

It is a Drops Design from Garnstudio. At the website from garnstudio you'll find the DROPS pattern database with lots of patterns for free. The patterns are available in eleven different languages!! Isn't that amazing? It is a great site with lots of beautiful patterns. The pattern above is Drops 109-14

This pattern is easy to follow.. appropriate for tv-knitting except for the pleats which need some more attention. This is the result till now:

 I know... it's an autumn/ winter  jacket ...and summer is coming but whatever.. at least now I have plenty of time to finish it..  

Vest

Als het weer mooi is probeer ik meer buiten te zijn dan binnen achter de computer. Dat is dan ook een van de redenen waarom ik niets meer heb toegevoegd op de weblog. Een andere reden was het werken aan de atelierruimte waar workshops gegeven gaan worden. Ik ben erg enthousiast maar er moet nog een en ander gebeuren. Echt klaar voor workshops is het pas in het najaar schat ik. 

In april ben ik begonnen aan een mooi wollen vest. Het patroon is van Drops Design van Garnstudio. Op de website van Garnstudio vind je heel veel mooie patronen. Je kunt ze gratis downloaden. De patronen zijn in 11 talen te verkrijgen. Fantastisch gewoon! Het patroon dat ik aan het breien ben is Dropsnr 109-14.

Het is een eenvoudig te volgen patroon.. heerlijk project voor bij de televisie. Alleen even opletten geblazen bij de plooien. Het resultaat tot nu toe zie je hierboven.

En ja.. ik weet het ...niet echt een zomers project...Ach ik zie het maar als vooruitlopend op... nu hoef ik niet bang te zijn dat ik in tijdnood kom voor de aankomende herfst en winter.
