Craft Fair Zwolle 2009

Yesterday I went to the Craft Fair in Zwolle. Old Habits New did not attend this time. Next time we hope to be there with our own stand.

I like the Craft Fair for several reasons like getting new ideas, seeing people who share the same interest and of course the fact that this is the opportunity to find that specific yarn, ribbon or button you always wanted but couldn’t find.

For me that were rag balls. I read about them in the book from Mason and Dixon knitting. Never found them here in the Netherlands and couldn’t put myself to making them from old tshirts or other old clothes.

And there they were… The company that sells them is called Hoooked Zpagetti.

You can knit or crochet great bags, cushions and rugs with them.

Handwerkbeurs Zwolle 2009

Gisteren ging ik naar de handwerkbeurs in Zwolle. Old Habits New stond er niet maar we hopen er volgende keer wel te zijn met onze eigen stand.

De handwerkbeurs is echt een leuk uitje. Je komt vol inspiratie terug en het is erg leuk mensen te ontmoeten met dezelfde interesse. Ook is de beurs natuurlijk DE gelegenheid om eindelijk dat lang gezochte garen, knoopje of lintje te vinden.

Voor mij waren dat ‘rag balls’. Ik had ze gezien in het boek van Mason and Dixon knitting. Nooit gevonden in ons landje en het nog niet opgebracht om ze zelf te maken van oude tshirts of andere oude kleren. En daar waren ze...Het bedrijf dat ze verkoopt heet Hoooked Zpagetti.

Je kunt er leuke tassen van maken maar ook kussens of vloerkleden.
