Blanket for A. finished

Just before the weather got really hot (>30 degrees Celsius) I finished the blanket for A. I am pleased with the result. It is very soft and warm and that is just what we don’t need now ;-)  but later when the evenings  will be chilly again I think it must be very comfortable. 

 

 

The yarn that is used is Elfin , a polyacryl /mohair blend from Schoeller und Stahl. I used a bit less than 400 g color 114 and about 100 g color 14 for the edge. Crochet needle nr. 5 mm

 

 

Plaid voor A. is klaar

Net voordat het weer echt heet lees boven de 30graden werd, had ik de deken voor A. klaar.  Ik ben blij met het resultaat. De deken is erg zacht en warm en dat is wat we nu net niet nodig hebben ;-) maar als de avonden straks weer killer worden dan zal deze plaid zeer comfortabel zijn.

 

 

Het garen dat ik heb gebruikt is Elfin , a polyacryl /mohair mengsel van Schoeller und Stahl .  Ik had iets minder dan 400 g kleur 114 nodig en ongeveer 100 g kleur 14 voor de rand. Haaknaald 5 mm.
